Emotions of the Heart are Vital

“If you want to find the secrets of the universe,

think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration.”

~ Nikola Tesla

Did you know that our heart works like the human brain? Let me give you some examples of how the heart works like a brain and has a huge impact on our bodies.

Studies have shown that the heart sends more information to the brain than the brain sends to the heart. This means that how you FEEL is far more powerful than what you think. The emotions held in your heart have a very strong energy field. So, the emotions felt in your heart are vital because the energy resonance affects your entire body.

Even subtle emotions and thoughts influence the activity of the heart thus affecting the digestive system, immunes system, and other bodily systems. In fact, studies show that negative emotions and feelings create disturbance in the brain. On the contrary, feelings of gratitude create a positive affect on the brain resulting in improved hormonal, immune, and cognitive function.

Not only are emotions and thoughts powerful, but so is intent. Intent is felt in the heart, but not the brain. This makes the energy around your intentions profoundly impactful. Your heart energetically broadcasts your intentions throughout your body (just like it broadcasts your emotions).

Here is more research that the heart, well-being, energy, and emotions are linked: "Emotions and resilience are closely related because emotions are the primary drivers of many key physiological processes involved in energy regulation. We define resilience as the capacity to prepare for, recover from and adapt in the face of stress, adversity, trauma or challenge. Therefore, it follows that a key to sustaining good health, optimal function and resilience is the ability to manage one’s emotions."*

Did you know that according to the Heart Math Institute the heart also affects your hormones? "Although not typically thought of as an endocrine gland, the heart actually manufactures and secretes a number of hormones and neurotransmitters that have a wide-ranging impact on the body as a whole". So your heart affects your hormones and your hormones control SO many of you bodily processes.

Also, studies have also shown that the more heart centered we are, the greater our intuition is. As an Intuitive Therapist and Healer, I have personally found this to be true. When I opened my heart, that is when my gifts truly began to open. My gifts were always present; I just couldn't access them until I opened my heart completely. Your heart allows you to intuitively tap into your soul with a clear signal. So think of your heart as your soul's best friend. Your heart KNOWS your path, but the brain may confuse you one thousand different ways.

Let's get scientific for a minute:

Emotion is defined as energy in motion. Energy is a combination of frequency and vibration. Our thoughts, visions, feelings, and emotions all vibrate physical energetic frequencies that can literally be measured.

Frequency and vibration play important roles in creating matter giving it appearance. Frequency and vibration are essential for life to exist. So the frequency and vibration that your heart puts into the universe is so strong! If you open your heart to the vibration of love, you can not only heal parts of yourself but also others.

I'd like to give a loving "thank you" to the Heart Math Institute. I have been studying their research for years. It is absolutely phenomenal, insightful, and scientific.

So give your heart a hug by putting yourself in a place of gratitude! Your whole body will feel it!
