Did you know that what we put in our bodies elevates our vibration? There are little things that we can do everyday that raise our vibration and our immunity! Many of us don’t do them because we don’t know what to do. This is also something I specialize in! I even created a television series about health and wellness! It becomes really fun once you dive in and start to feel like a zillion dollars. Now who really knows what a zillion dollars feels like, but you know what I mean.
My immunity dipped for a bit and I raised my white blood cell count by doing some of the following things. We can dig deeper in each category, but I’ll just touch on some concepts.
What if we made a point to eat foods that bring nutrients and oxygen into our system and oxygen into our system? If we raise the oxygen levels in our body, disease actually cannot exist. So let’s make an effort to eat things with antioxidants that bring off the oxygen into our system versus things that deplete nutrients from our system. Often the things that deplete our system also cause inflammation. Sugar, starches, high fructose corn syrup, processed foods, microwaved foods cause inflammation in the body. Foods like fruits and vegetables that are full of color bring loads of nutrients and antioxidants into our system reducing inflammation and bringing us oxygen. Dairy is also a huge culprit that breaks down immunity and creates mucus and acid. If you are going to eat dairy choose something cultured like yogurt or kefir.

If our bodies are too acidic we also end up getting sick. So much of the American diet creates acidity in the body. If we keep our bodies alkaline by eating alkaline rich foods, we will raise our immunity. I'm a big fan of lemons (or limes), apple cider vinegar, spirulina, chlorella, alfalfa, anything green, etc....all of these create alkalinity in the body.
Drink lots of water. Water flushes most sickness out of the body. If we drink a lot of pure water and stay hydrated, we will raise our immunity. Most people are chronically dehydrated because many live on coffee, soda, caffeine, etc.
Of course we need fiber to flush out the toxins. Our liver is a key organ in staying healthy because it flushes out our toxins. The more toxins we flush from the liver, the more we need fiber to release it from our bowels. I coach my clients through liver cleanses using herbal supplements and liver cleansing foods.
We can also take natural antivirals, antibacterials, and anti-fungals, like Manuka honey, coconut oil, oregano oil, lemon balm, turmeric, ginger, etc. We can make an effort to use spices/herbs in cooking because they are loaded with nutrients. Try adding cayenne, onion powder, garlic powder, ginger, etc. Traditionally we use fat and sugar to make our foods tasty, but what about trying something new!

Last but not least here are the heavy hitters for immunity: vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin B, zinc, elderberry, echinacea, lysine, probiotics, live probiotics like sauerkraut made with sea salt, and mushrooms like chaga, lions maine, and reishi.

So we have taken care of the physical aspect of what raises immunity, but let’s not forget about how stress and panic breaks down our immunity, but that JOY and LAUGHTER raises it!
Fear puts us in fight or flight. Fear blows out our adrenals and makes us more susceptible to viruses, flus, colds, etc. So find any way you can to laugh, breathe, release, dance, etc. If you need to cry do that too!! Don't let tension & fear stay in your body. Our bodies are like computers, they retain everything unless we do energy work & physical work to release it.
Release. Laugh. Giggle :)
