Is Your Self Worth Blocking Your Potential?

We are in a world that has created programming within us from childhood to dislike ourselves. Think about it. Many people get irritated if someone seems to love themselves too much. They are called arrogant, conceited, egotistic, over confident, full of oneself, pompous, self-centered, narcissistic, vain, self-absorbed, conceited, or self-centered.

Here's the thing: Loving who you are is one of the HEALTHIEST things that you can do for yourself and everyone else!

Building your own self worth doesn’t mean that you’re selfish or a narcissistic. It is just the simple psychological concept that in order to be truly and authentically helpful to others, you have to feel good about yourself. Otherwise many of your interactions with others become about people pleasing them. Energetically, this works against you, because your intent isn't pure. Your motive is to win them over, so that you can prove to yourself that you are worth something. True self worth comes from within and not from proving that you can win people over and make them like you. So, the more you sit into who you are and authentically love who you are, the more you are giving to others -- just be loving and being yourself. If you are giving them a false persona that is only working to win them over, then you are actually doing a disservice to them.

Moving on...

From a Spiritual standpoint, God wants us to see ourselves with eyes of love. God does not want us to hate ourselves for the things that we don't like about ourselves. God either wants us to embrace what dislike (if we can't change it) or shift our actions so that we feel better about who we are in the eyes of God. We were created perfectly by God. Even what we feel are our imperfections actually makes us more perfect!!! If you aren't spiritual, well, then there must be a part of you that is because you ended up on my website ;)

Abusing and criticizing ourselves doesn't help anyone. Often people create a running circle in their heads of what they dislike about themselves without taking action to shift and change. What good does that do for anyone? It doesn't do any good. It radiates a low vibrational frequency into the entire energy field. Yes, people can feel that you don't like yourself and it actually brings them down too!

What if we embraced who we are for what we are?

What if we started loving ourselves everyday just a little bit more?

What if that put more loving energy into the universe?

What if that little bit of love generated more love?

What if loving ourselves every day made us FEEL better?

What if we starting to manifest what we want in our lives just because we felt better being in our own skin?

Yes learning to love ourselves can take time, but we are on this earth for the JOURNEY. Becoming the high vibrational frequency of love on an earth plane that is resonating at a much lower frequency is not easy. However, if you do raise the love within yourself, you will feel your life start to improve. You will have a magnetism and confidence that attracts the right people to you. Your world will open up because energetically we live in and internal external world. What does that mean? It means that however you are treating yourself on the inside, you will see and manifest in your external world.

From childhood we are pretty much taught that loving ourselves isn't okay. So, what we need to do is un-program that programming! We need to REBUILD!

I help my clients by giving them solid healing tools that help them build their self image, self worth, and their self love. They work, but it does take work! It's your life, and no one can do this for you but you!
